Sustainable Sourcing

Sustainability forms the cornerstone of our operations, encompassing both sustainable sourcing and responsible operations. Our approach to sourcing starts at the ground level, quite literally. A large part of the fibre we use comes from agricultural residues such as bagasse and wheat straw, along with agricultural produce like eucalyptus, poplar, and bamboo, and veneer chips from the plywood industry.

100% of the wood and bamboo used in our operations is sourced from Indian farmers. Through our strategic agro-based sourcing model and long-standing procurement relationships, we ensure stability in supply, better control over cost and quality, and reduced dependence on imported materials.

To strengthen this further and future-proof our fibre supply, we run our own nursery, supplying eucalyptus and poplar clonal saplings to farmers. Our plantation team works closely with farming communities through the entire lifecycle, supporting sustainable forestry practices while also creating livelihood opportunities at the local level.

FSC® Chain of Custody and FSC® Forest Management certifications ensure that this entire process remains traceable and responsibly managed.
